Rewari's Sonam increased India's pride in Europe, first in cancer research  Sonam won 1st place again in less than a month. European 360RG-CHEM Challenge, Organized in Katowice, Poland on 2nd December 2024. 36 participants have participated from all European countries. Sonam presented her new drugs for better cancer treatment and reduced side effects, which can give patients a better life after treatment. As chemotherapy often, has a lots of side effects like loss of hair, bleeding and more, because in chemotherapy the whole body is exposed to harmful chemicals that also damage healthy cells. Sonam synthesizes new drugs that will work only in tumor cells and save healthy cells from lots of harmful chemicals. This unique research has already published in ChemMedChem Journal, also featured on the cover page of chemMedchem. Her impressive speech and work made her stand out from all the other European researchers and helped her win the prestigious award.
